Shopping

I went a little crazy shopping the other day, but I think I came away with several good purchases and I'm now ready for the ski trip in January! I bought a new pair of ski pants and actually got a really good deal on them at T.J. Maxx! 
I also found this pair of shoes that I think are pretty cute, but I want everyone's opinion!

As far as shopping for other people, I didn't do very good. I think for my gift exchange person for the Thomas family I might just go with giftcards since there were several that that person wanted.
The family is getting together on Sunday to make the annual chocolate candy. If you want some, let me know and I'll see what I can do!
I went to bed really early last night (10:30PM) and woke up this morning with a low blood sugar at 5:30AM and can't seem to go back to sleep. I'm full of energy for some reason! I think I'm going to go do laundry then start packing for NYC! I'm taking my ice skates this year (as I did last year) and WILL go skating! I don't care if I have to go by myself, but I'm not letting anyone make excuses this year!

10 quarters to go!

Finals are done for this quarter and I'm very glad to be done until January. I plan on packing for NYC in the next week and maybe do some cleaning around the apartment.

Oh I just wanted to say thank you to my mom for getting me a SD card reader for my birthday! I am now able to get my pictures off my SD card onto my computer!

I wish I could post pictures, but my camera and my computer don't get along. I think I just need iPhoto, but I can't seem to get it. Not sure why it's not on this computer that Trent set up for me. Guess he didn't use iPhoto, so never thought it necessary to put it on here. Leopard comes out Friday! My birthday is Sunday! Exciting weekend ahead. Mom & Dad are coming on Saturday to take me to dinner and then we're watching the Buckeyes take on Penn State! I sometimes wish I had a bigger place and humongous TV like in my apartment before so I could entertain once in a while. Stay tuned for pictures. I hope I can get my camera synced this weekend!

Bicyclists

I have to vent my frustration because this may be one of my biggest pet peeves! And please note that I also ride a bike around town. So today I am approaching a red light and there is a bicyclist in front of me on the road. First off, I think bicyclists should be allowed on the road, BUT they should have to follow the rules of the road! The guy in front of me on the bicycle just ran the red light! IF YOU ARE GOING TO RIDE ON THE ROAD PLEASE FOLLOW THE TRAFFIC LAWS! I also have no problem with bicyclists riding on the sidewalk as long as they don't go 50 mph past the pedestrians. I almost got ran over once because I never saw the crazy speeding sidewalk riding bicyclist coming. GRRR! Sorry about the rant, I just felt it needed to be addressed!

Blogging

I decided to create a blog because that seems like the current thing to do! Hopefully I can keep everyone updated on a pretty regular basis. I'll try my hardest!

Tonight I went to Target and even though I stopped buying soda at the grocery store, I found a Green Tea Soda by Hansen's that was diet and looked good and I figured I had to try it. It is really good. I was a little scared because I'm not a big green tea fan, but this is actually Pomengranate flavored, so I can't taste the green tea!

Well, I'd better call it a night. I have to get up before noon tomorrow as the football game starts at 12pm. Go Bucks!
